Boasting the largest sandy beach on Malta, Mellieha Bay is located on the northern tip of the island offering panoramic views over the island. Relaxed and laid back, Mellieha Bay attracts many visitors during the day to its lovely beach, but at night, life centres on the hotels or one of the many restaurants in the town. A Baroque church stands proudly in the village’s centre, surrounded by both modern and historic buildings. Beautiful beaches abound and Għadira Bay is the largest sandy beach on the island with sloping, shallow waters that are perfect for little ones, whilst Golden Bay is a great place to see the sun go down. Marfa offers wonderful hotels and is an easy way to visit Gozo and Comino, with ferries departing from nearby Ċirkewwa.
